Of course we all want something that looks great and feels amazing but place a high priority on the wear factor. If the piece in only about introducing a colour or style but will not get use then don’t worrry about it. But, if you use your furniture it is important to look for the “Double Rubs”. Double Rubs is a way to measure the abrasion ressitance and durability of a fabric. For residentail furniture that is used daily I recommend a minimum of 25,000 double rubs but 40,000 is more practical. Commercial projects with high traffic should consider 100,000 double rubs.
